I never in a million years thought I would ever own a home based business… but when I actually took the time to learn more about how they work and how I could partner with one to earn extra money from home, my whole view changed.
It is important to partner with the right company for you, and I share some tips to help you choose the right company.
How to choose the right company:
One thing that was very important to me was that I wouldn’t go into debt starting my business. I loved that I could run my business debt free from day one and that my company celebrated paying off debt (they have been debt free since 2001). It was a very low start up cost ($99) and I was able to make that back in my first day.
Another big issue was would I have to carry a lot of stock (and have to worry about shipping or delivering products). It Works makes it super easy for us as distributors. My customers order from my website and then It Works takes care of all the shipping. I only keep products that I use personally or have as samples.
This is kind of just business in general, but you want to have a product that people will reorder. Our products are consumable and most are used in one month’s time which means that customers are likely to re-order. This is where you have true residual income. When you can connect someone to a product that they need every month, that’s the goal.
I really think you need to be passionate about helping others. In any business, you are there to add value to your customers. I personally loved having products that could help anyone and everyone’s budget too. From my cousin in college to my parents in their 60’s and my grandmother too… we all have found products that we love and use every day.
P.S. If you have ever thought about starting your own home based business, we would love to connect with you. We would love the chance to partner with you and be your mentor. Send us a message for more info:
