Sometimes we go through times and there is a song that speaks to your inner core and just helps you put faith back in God and be reminded of his love.

When I was pregnant with Aidalyn, the song was “You Hold me Now” by Hillsong. You can listen to it by clicking here.

I was dealing with lot of emotions surrounded by a normal pregnancy on top of hopes and prayers for a healthy child. This song just spoke to me. God was able to tell me that no matter the outcome, He was holding me and holding my child. He also was able to show me there will be a day of complete healing.

There are so many people in our lives who are suffering with health issues. Cancer, sever allergies, mental illnesses, the list goes on.

God obviously never intended us to go through all this pain and suffering.

It was all a result of the fall – When Adam and Eve sinned that very first time in the garden and brought sin into our perfect world, changing it forever.

When sin entered the world, it entered us. We were now broken people separated from a perfect God.

Romans 3:23

New International Version (NIV)

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

But the story doesn’t end there.

Yes, we made the mistake. We allowed sin to enter into this world, but God didn’t give up on us. He made a way for us to be healed spiritually and one day be healed physically.

“No weeping, no hurt or pain, so suffering. You hold me now.” For eternity!

If you are hurting today, know that you aren’t alone. Even healthy people are broken and hurting and need healing and to be cleansed of their past. God offers salvation to all who ask to receive him as their savior.

Romans 10:13  “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord  will be saved!

Of those who are a follower of Christ, this is just a reminder that no matter what you are going through – healing will come. It may not be in this life-time, but it may be. We have hope in a full healing one day.

  1. That was pretty much Bro. John’s message today too. Not that got allows us to go through suffering because he likes to see us suffer, but even the suffering of this day is nothing to compare with the glory that will come one day. We need to keep focusing on the eternal perspective and not get lost in this present world.
    Love you!
