How to Get Stronger Nails Naturally

How to Get Stronger Nails Naturally

I normally had very strong and bright white fingernails… but when I was nursing I noticed that they weren’t as strong or growing like I wanted. That’s when I started to do some research into what are some natural ways to make our nails healthy and strong.

Foods for Strong Nails

There are many different foods that can help strengthen our nails and many of these fit right in with a healthy diet too!

Gelatin

Adding gelatin to your diet can be an easy way to strengthen your hair and nails. Gelatin is a great source of protein and can help improve your digestion. It is also beneficial for healing inflammation in your digestion tract. You can make fun homemade gummies to increase your gelatin in your diet.

Fruits and Vegetables

It is no secret that fruits and vegetables are filled with vitamins and minerals that are healthy for you and will make stronger nails naturally. Fruit is a great snack to eat with yogurt and vegetables are wonderful as part of a main dish or side on your dinner plate.

Eggs

We eat a lot of eggs (I think we go through 4-5 dozen some weeks!). Eggs are full of vitamins, one being Vitamin B complex which can help strengthen your nails. Eggs also contain Biotin which is great for strong nails.

Meat

Meat is also a great source of Biotin. It is also full of protein and iron.

Beans

Beans are a great source of Vitamin B6 which can help strengthen nails.

Nails are made out of protein, so it is important that you are eating enough protein in your diet.

Supplements for stronger nails

I was eating a very healthy diet… but my nails just weren’t showing it. I decided I needed something a little bit stronger for helping me get the results I wanted, so I tried a whole food supplement Hair Skin Nails.

Hair Skin Nails is a daily wholefood supplement perfectly designed to give you the nutrients your body needs for stronger nails and healthier skin and hair too! This is high quality wholefood nutrition is different than a generic Hair and Nails supplement you may can find in your store because of the quality of the ingredients. It is designed to help your body boost natural keratin production, support your body against free radical damage, moisturize skin’s elasticity and promote healthy cell growth, strength and shine.

I know that I was very excited about my results and here are two other customer results too:

  1. These are some great tips, Angela. I’ll be looking into those Hair Skin Nails tablets. I bit my nails for the longest time, but after I stopped biting and started using a file and clippers, I immediately noticed a difference in my nail health.

    • That’s great! My husband has a bad habit of biting his nails (we even did the bad tasting nail polish on them for a while and it worked great). He is actually taking Hair Skin Nails right now – but for his Hair and Skin, haha.

  2. Hey there great tips to follow for having stronger nails. I would like to add one more point, applying olive oil on the nails also strengthen them. I have my personal experience with this. I used to have brittle nails, used to break easily then I started applying olive oil daily before bed and within months I got positive results.
