Saves Time

Repurposing your content not only helps you be more productive, but also saves you time!

When you can create one long piece of content and create multiple versions, you end up with endless post ideas and video clips that you can share almost anywhere to help drive engagement, views, sales.

Be Everywhere

When you repurpose your content, you can be on multiple platforms without too much extra stress.

Pick one “hub” and let the rest be secondary places to share your content and videos.

Facebook is a very popular “hub” as well as Youtube or Instagram. Just pick one and the other platforms also get to be places to share content that points back to your main hub for engagement.

I would say that Facebook and Instagram are my primary “hubs.” For videos, Facebook is usually where I start though.

7 points of Contact

Have you heard the saying that most people won’t buy until they have 7 points of contact with you?

If you can connect with people over multiple platforms, they are way more likely to connect with you on a deeper level and eventually buy from you.

By repurposing your content, they also will have 7 points of contact with the topic of your video. If you are talking about a certain problem that your products or services help solve…

You will become the person to reach out to for help to solve that problem too!

How to create 10 Pieces of Content (or More!) with One Video

Film Original Video on Facebook Live (save video to your phone after it ends)

Edit Video using InShot or Wondershare 9 (download to computer to edit in Wondershare)

Create 3 Teaser videos (15 second to 2-3 minutes long) and one full length video.

Upload long video to Youtube and IGTV.

Share short teaser videos in stories and on Facebook and Instagram over a few days pointing followers back to watch long video.

Share teaser videos on Pinterest and point back to blog or long video on youtube.

Download transcript and turn into a blog post with long video embedded from YouTube.

Bonus: Grab 3 quotes from your video and turn them into quote posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Do you see how this not only will save you time – because you can have 2 weeks of content or more from just one video – but will help you stay consistent and connected to your followers too.
