How to Discover your Gift

One of my favorite parts of my business is getting to coach people and help them develop their gifts.

What is your gift and how to you discover it??

Your gift is usually the thing that comes most natural to you (you don’t even realize that other people struggle with it!) Sometimes the best way to figure out what your gift is… is to ask someone who is close to you “What is something I’m really good at?”

Watch More: How to Discover your Gift

When I started my business.. I really didn’t have a clue what my gift was or even had a place to develop and grow it. That’s one thing that I love about owning your own business is that it forces you to stretch yourself and develop like no other thing can. read more

Christmas Reflections: The Best Gifts aren’t Under the Tree

Just two Christmases ago…

It was a really stressful time for us. Adam and I had to count, save and hoard all his vacation days just so we would have a week off at Christmas. He was working as a chemical engineer and had a great job!! but they were really strict about their vacation days and it just made everything hard to work around.

On top of that stress, all the extra costs associated with Christmas (even without going overboard with the gifts!)… it all quickly added up.

Our family was 1,000 miles away & we only saw them 2x a year – and just being that far away was really tough. We always were making sure we saved enough money to travel back to Louisiana to see family. Because we were that far away it would take two days to get there, hotel rooms and gas weren’t cheap. read more

Top Toys for 6 Month Olds

Everyone always is asking what to buy for their baby’s birthday or special occasions. Sometimes it is hard to know what are the best toys out there for different developmental ages. Right now Annaleigh is 8 months old and so much fun. At 6 months, she just starting to really have fun and play. It was a whole new world for her to explore! We have tested out these toys. I wanted to share her favorite ones.

Here are my top picks toys for 6 month olds:

1) Exersaucer

Annaleigh loves that she can sit up and play in her exersaucer. She enjoys being about to look around the room and watch Aidalyn run around. The exersaucer also gives her a chance to use her newly developed head control and work towards sitting up by strengthening her core muscles. read more

Here are 6 Ways to Save Money this Valentine’s Day without feeling like a cheapskate. Valentine’s Day is not one of my favorite holidays… but it is never a bad thing to recognize the ones you love and let them know in some special way. Remember that expensive gifts don’t equal more love. You will show love to your husband more by staying on budget than a fancy new watch.  read more

5 Best Gifts: Craft Kits for Toddlers

Christmas gifts, crafts, toddlers

Christmas is almost here

and everyone is making lists for toys and gifts to get their kids. Here is a list of my pick of Craft Kits that I know would be so much fun for the little toddler in your family.

These Craft kits are also good for learning and creativity. So instead of a new toy, think about getting your toddler some art supplies or one of these all in one craft kits. I know Aidalyn loves working on crafts on a rainy day or when we are having a slow morning.
