Healthy Keto Iced Mocha Frappe

It’s summer in the south and that means it’s HOT!

Hot weather makes me want a cool treat, but since most of them are LOADED with sugar and other unhealthy options, I try to get creative.

For example, what I used to get in the past from Starbucks has 36 to 50 Grams of sugar (depending on size). Yikes!

So here’s a simple homemade frozen mocha that I love! And you end up with only about 3 Grams of Sugar per serving! Not to mention this home option saves you money as well!

ONE HOUR Instant Pot Gumbo

I’m a Louisiana girl. I grew up in north Louisiana and I lived in south Louisiana for 8 years… and believe me when I say Cajuns know how to cook!

Also, most traditional Cajun recipes are NOT healthy….

Now, being a Louisiana girl… I have a special place in my heart for gumbo. It’s the perfect meal for a cold fall or winter day!

The basis of the dish is the roux (a mix of flour and oil cooked into a peanut buttery consistency). The roux is the HEART of a good gumbo. A lot of my friends in Louisiana didn’t make the roux themselves, but bought a bottle of pre-made roux… but it really can be made at home from scratch! read more

Why is Grassfed Butter Good for You?

As you may can imagine… given the title of this blog… We like grassfed butter and we cannot lie, haha.

What is Grassfed Butter?

Grassfed Butter is just butter made from cows who eat grass…

How to Use It Works Body Wrap

Three years ago, I tried my first It Works Body Wrap… now I have to tell you… It wasn’t what I expected!

You know those wraps in the 80’s and 90’s where you had to go to a spa… wrap your entire body in a cloth and sweat at much as you could in an hour…. Any results you got were just water weight.. right?

This is not your mama’s body wrap!

How is the It Works Body Wrap different?

You don’t sweat… at all!

That’s right… no sweating involved at all.

Actually, you want to avoid sweating all together so the cream is absorbed into your skin! read more
