Low Carb Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Fall is my favorite!! One of my favorite parts of fall is the food, smells, and cooler weather…

Imagine this…. You all curled up on the couch (in your favorite fuzzy socks) sipping on a cup of healthy coffee, and enjoying a piece of your favorite low carb bread…

It will be so perfect – “You should be on a Christmas card!”

The Best Recipes of March

Best Recipes of March!

The Best Recipes of March

We have had a lot of fun on Grassfed Mama so far this year. I wanted to highlight some of our top post so far from March.

1) Best Brownie in a Mug

This is always a crowd pleaser. I created this recipe when I was pregnant and dealing with gestational diabetes.  I was needing a snack that I could fix quickly during a nap and that I actually wanted to eat (crazy pregnancy taste buds). I would make this every day (and sometimes twice a day if I needed the extra energy).

When I was pregnant I would use almond butter instead of peanut flour. After I had my baby, I was introduced to peanut flour. I loved how I could make this brownie in a mug with the extra benefit of coconut oil. I get raving reviews from readers how they love it too. Hope you enjoy my Best Brownie in a Mug.  (Sugar Free and Grain Free!) read more

Berry Bliss Bars

{Gluten Free, Egg Free, Dairy Free, Sugar Free}

Berries are a love of mine. I love how naturally sweet they are. I love that they are a low glycemic food. I love that you can even grow your own at home. I used to have 3 blueberry bushes… Maybe I should plant some at my new house.

I was starting to dream (I dream about food mostly) about a berry dessert that was egg free, gluten free, and dairy free. It took a little time, but finally was able to create this beautiful dessert.

The Crust

This crust is surprisingly easy to make. You throw everything into your food processor and blend it all together. read more

Cooking and Baking with Stoneware

healthy baking, cooking, non stickCooking and Baking with Stoneware as a Safe Non-stick Option

With all the news reports and information we have now about the materials in pans and baking dishes, we know that most of these types of baking pans contain toxic materials that can end up in our food. Yuck!

What is a safe solution to bake with?

Cast iron skillets are amazing! We love our cast iron skillet for cooking on the stove and sometimes a small dish in the oven.

Another option is stoneware!

Pampered Chef has a full line of stoneware products from muffin tins to large baking dishes. These are the perfect addition to a natural kitchen for healthy baking and cooking. Plus when baking with stoneware, every dish will turn out well and be evenly cooked. Your food won’t burn and they are easy to clean!  read more
