Buying organic can get pricey. We are all watching our money these days, and really need to make the most bang for our buck.

Why are we buying organic? One of the main reasons to buy organic is to reduce your exposure to pesticides in foods. There are some foods that require more pesticide use when grown conventionally than others. Peanuts, for instance, are very susceptible to a certain fungus, so they are heavily sprayed with anti-fungal spray.
