What is Garcinia Cambogia?

Have you heard of Garcinia Cambogia?

It may just help you reach your next weight loss goal…

Garcinia is a plant native to India, Southeast Asia and Polynesia. This Fruit has been eaten by local populations for centuries.

It has gotten fairly popular (even featured on the Dr.Oz show ) recently with helping people to lose weight. The active ingredient in the fruit’s rind, hydroxycitric acid, or HCA. This has shown to be fat-burning and help reduce appetites in studies. It also seems to block an enzyme called citrate lyase, which your body uses to make fat. Thoughts of Thanksgiving

Happy November!!!

‘Tis the season to celebrate how good God has been to us and His promises.

November is one of my favorite times of the year. It is just starting to get cooler and I don’t feel guilty listening to Christmas music (hehe).

It is also a time to reflect on this past year and how Faithful God has been to us.

Four years ago, I was 9 month pregnant with my first… waddling around the neighborhood on Thanksgiving day trying to get this baby to decided that she was ready to meet us (my due day was Thanksgiving day). About a week later, she entered the world – and my world has never been the same. read more

Looking for a change of scenery? Want to travel outside of your comfort zone and gain some life experience after college? An au pair job might just be what you’re looking for.

Right after studies end, whether it be high school or a post secondary education, many young people begin to feel the intense pressure of expectations placed on them by family, society, friends and peers to move forward with life, and pony up to the next income bracket.

Generation after generation, there are countless people who scurry from one phase to another in life, and miss out on a wide variety of opportunities that they simply didn’t see because they weren’t open to them. read more

Gluten Free Banana Bread

Gluten Free Banana Bread

by Maria Alison at Ten at the Table

I am so thrilled to have Maria as my guest today sharing her Gluten Free Banana Bread. I know that Banana Bread is just an all time favorite of mine and always a treat. I can’t wait to try this recipe out! I hope you all enjoy this great recipe that will be perfect for sharing. – Angela

I like to take the gluten free option whenever there is one. And you can hardly tell that this banana bread is gluten-free. It’s moist, insanely delicious, and has the same texture and flavor as banana bread made with wheat flour! Sometimes I like to add chocolate chips to the banana bread, like I did today, and it just takes the banana bread to another level. The chocolate chips are completely optional but I use them for the flavor and the health benefits. You could also add in some chopped nuts if you’d like. read more

I love Pinterest. I’ve been using it for close to 3 years now. It is such a great way to search and organize your interest. I used to save recipe after recipe to a file on my desktop… not organized in any way. I could never find the recipe again.

Pinterest solved all my problems! I could search for recipes, craft ideas, fun things to try all at the same spot.

It was also a way to follow people that had interest like me.

I know some of you are already following me on Pinterest.
