    Is THIS the secret to Reaching Your Goals?

    How much time do you really need to form a new habit??

    The secret to REACHING your New Years Goals to to make small changes in your daily life.


    If you change your daily habits, you can change your life!!


    Based on a recent study, on average it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact.

    There is no reason to get down on yourself if you try something for a few weeks and it doesn’t become a habit. It’s supposed to take longer than that! (This is why Most people give up on their New Years resolutions by Valentine’s Day)

    The secret to reaching your goals is by making 1% changes that you can KEEP long term. For example, taking an afternoon walk, remembering your daily vitamins, going to bed 30 minutes earlier.

    When you can make these 1% daily changes, you are much more likely to keep them long term and that is how you reach your long term goals!


    Consistency isn’t sexy, but it works!

    I say this all the time to my business partners! I say it so much, because it really is true. Consistency is the secret to winning. It is doing the same thing day after day that gets you closer to your goal. It is in the daily process. 

    If you want to be healthier… it starts with making healthy choices not just one day, but day after day.


    You don’t have to be perfect. 

    Making a mistake once or twice has no measurable impact on your long-term habits. This is why you should treat failure like a scientist, give yourself permission to make mistakes, and develop strategies for getting back on track quickly. Failing brings you closer to your success. 


    Embracing longer timelines actually help us realize that habits are a process and not an event. All of the “21 Days” hype can make it really easy to think, “Oh, I’ll just do this and it’ll be done.” But habits never work that way. You have to embrace the process. You have to commit to a system.

    1% changes are what makes the BIGGEST long term impact.

    When I became I mom, I started doing a lot of research about how to clean my house without chemicals. I was really worried about what was in the common household products and I started searching for natural ways to clean. What I found was that there were natural ingredients that I could use to make a DIY Multi Purpose Cleaner using essential oils!

    An essential oil is a natural oil typically obtained by distillation and having the characteristic fragrance of the plant or other source from which it is extracted.

    What makes Lemon Essential Oil so great for cleaning?

    Essential oils are one of my favorite all natural cleansers. They safe and natural to use (especially great when you have little fingers touching everything!), plus they are effective at killing surface bacteria! They also give a natural fragrance that can improve the quality of air in your home and boost your mood! – which is way better than smelling chemicals

    One of my favorite essential oils to use for cleaning is lemon essential oil. Not only does it have a fresh, clean scent, but it is also antiseptic, antifungal, and antiviral (That’s a very powerful punch!) Lemon is an air disinfectant and is invigorating and energizing – it always makes me just feel happy!
